Open “Trading Accounts” in the account menu. The new page usually offers two options: “Quick Create” and “Import Trading Account”. The exchanges and connection methods you see depend on your account, region, and the current version.
Choose “Quick Create” to create a new Hyperliquid trading account.
Follow the prompts to transfer funds from Funding to the trading account or deposit through a supported wallet route.
Complete the Agent Wallet, Unified Account (if shown), and Builder Fee authorizations in order. Verify the wallet, network, and authorization recipient at every step.
Return to Trading Accounts and confirm the status is “Activated / Ready” and that total assets and available balance can be read.
Hyperliquid authorizations may expire. If the page says an authorization is expiring, invalid, or out of sync, reauthorize before resuming automated trading.
Choose an exchange currently available on the page. The official website may list Binance, Bybit, OKX, Bitget, KuCoin, Gate, and Hyperliquid, but the options available in your account take precedence.
Centralized exchanges typically require an API Key and Secret. Hyperliquid may require a wallet address, Agent Wallet, or related authorization. Enter only the fields explicitly requested on the current page.
Enable only read and futures / derivatives trading permissions for the API. Do not enable withdrawals. If an exchange such as Binance requires an IP allowlist, use the IP addresses shown on the page.
After saving, confirm that the page can read your account balance and shows a connected or tradable status. If verification fails, first check account mode, API permissions, the IP allowlist, and which account holds your funds.
Copy-trading account restrictions: The new copy-trading prompts require a funded Hyperliquid account that is not occupied by another Agent. If an Agent already occupies the account, address that existing Agent first or choose another account.
