An AI Trader is an automated trading instance shown on the platform with a real operating history. New users can observe it before deciding whether to follow it. Historical returns, win rates, and leaderboard rankings do not indicate future performance.
Go to “Strategies” → “AI Traders”.
Compare 30-day returns, 30-day P&L, win rate, preferred markets, the number of running Agents, and the strategy description.
After signing in, open an AI Trader to review analysis, positions, orders, trade history, and fills.
Understand what it trades, how often it trades, whether positions are concentrated, how large historical losses have been, and whether you can tolerate similar drawdowns.
Click “Copy Trade” on the list or details page. If you are not signed in, you will be directed to sign in first.
Choose a sufficiently funded Hyperliquid account that is not occupied by another Agent.
Choose a fixed amount or use Leader Multiplier to scale the leader account’s notional position size. A fixed amount is easier for new users to understand.
Use the available options to set maximum position size, per-position hard stop, account hard stop, and leverage. Do not simply copy the publisher’s risk parameters.
Confirm the strategy, trading account, amount per trade, and intended maximum loss limit, then click “Start Copy Trading”.
Current on-screen guidance: Copy signals have a minimum margin requirement per trade. The current page states that Hyperliquid has a minimum order notional value of 10 USDC and warns that a low copy-trading allocation may cause some orders to behave abnormally. Refer to the live guidance in the start dialog.
